As you may be aware, the federal government is planning on implementing the UN Marking regulations come June 1, 2017. As it is currently written, these markings are additional to the manufacturer's serial #, make and model, and have to be added within 60 days of release from CBSA. This is estimated to add an additional cost of $200 per firearm which will undoubtedly have to borne by the consumer.

You can find a template letter drafted by the BC Wildlife Federation at; http://nprg.ca/2017/03/proposed-changes-to-the-canadian-firearms-marking-regulation/

Everyone is encouraged to send a letter!

Good Afternoon Members!

The LHAFA would like to advise its members and the public that there will be heavy equipment in operation at the dock for the next few weeks. As there will be people directing traffic, please be aware that the LHAFA parking will be limited and congested. During this time we are asking our members and the public to park along the chain link fence, backing your vehicle and trailer in, or on the asphalt beyond the LHAFA office.

Please be advised that there is no longer...
